The working group’s objective is to continue the education of UNYA Germany’s members through exchange and training. In 2011 the Working Group is engaged in particular with the establishment of workshops on the development of organizations and project coordination. The aim is to organize workshops in the member group’s home towns and in those of potential UNYA Germany member groups. This will facilitate the increase of their efficiency if they are still in the initial phase of organization. Topics of the workshop include: aims, delegation, team building, and management knowledge. Depending on requirements, the workshop will be composed of different modules. Each group that is interested in the improvement of their work and performance is invited to express their interest in a workshop!
Contact person for the collection of material, potential trainers who want to support the project with expertise and to interested groups is Arja L. Frömel, Co-Officer is Nilab Alokuzay.

Arja is 23 years old, from Oldenburg and studies Ethnology. Besides her studies, she is active for the German Youth for Understanding Committee and various smaller projects.
In 2004, Arja participated for the first time in OLMUN and was thereafter for some years very active in OLMMUN e.V. Nowadays, she is involved in some MUN groups in Germany and Argentinia. Her motivation is to motivate the many students and people to contribute actively to the society and to raise their awareness for and interest in (international) politics and the UN, especially by organizing simulations.
Since 2007 Arja is a member of UNYA Germany. In her opinion, probably one of the best ways to secure a better future worldwide is the meeting, exchange, common work and support of motivated youths who realize different projects for the common interest of education. It is of essential importance within our society, that “the voices of the youth is heard and that we benefit from their optimism, ideas and energy”, says Arja. She promotes especially the exchange of knowledge and experience and best-practice-sharing among the members of UNYA Germany as well as supporting them by offering individual trainings and workshops.
